Rustic Wedding Flowers: Featured in Style Me Pretty Georgia!

Friday, March 22nd, 2013

Heidie and Jacob’s vintage Roundhouse wedding was recently featured on Style Me Pretty Georgia! The photographers, Smitten & Hooked, did a great job capturing the rustic style of the museum. Thanks to Alysse at Morgan Gallo Events for coordinating the event, and to Smitten & Hooked for the beautiful photos!

A quip from the bride:

When it came to my bouquet and the boutonnieres, our florist helped us pick out perfect combinations. Since we were getting married in Savannah, I knew I wanted to incorporate cotton and wheat to give a great Southern feel. Cotton was used in my bouquet and my husband’s bout, and wheat was used in all the bouts. Many of our centerpieces were simple greenery, berries, and pieces of wheat or cotton.

Savannah Wedding Flowers for Sally and Scott

Friday, July 29th, 2011

Check out these photos from Sally and Scott’s sweet summer wedding! The ceremony took place in Telfair Square, where the aisle was sprinkled with punchy, pink petals. Then they walked across the street to the Jepson Center for their reception (which included a self-serve candy bar!). Thanks to Scott Hopkins Photography for sending these images, and to Morgan Gallo for coordinating the event.

Southern Garden Wedding- Melanie & Jason

Sunday, October 3rd, 2010

We are so excited to announce that we have been featured again on The Wedding Blog by Elizabeth Anne Designs.

Melanie and Jason were married on a beautiful summer day in historic Savannah, Georgia. Their wedding was captured so perfectly by Nate of Open Light Studio. Please enjoy his images; and to check out more, visit his blog.

1-bride and groom kiss

Melanie’s bridal bouquet was a colorful mixture of roses, lisianthus, freesia, and hydrangea. Jason’s boutonniere consisted of freesia and rolled rose petals for a splash of color.

2-bouquet and bout

The ceremony took place in the historic Davenport Garden. The guests entered through the garden gates which were adorned with swags of variegated ivy, roses, and lisianthus.

The natural jasmine arch growing over the garden looked so romantic with our hanging fresh hydgrangea balls, crystals, and votives. Many thanks to their coordinator Alysse, with Morgan Gallo Events, for her wonderful design ideas on this wedding.

The reception took place in The Study of The Olde Pink House. It is a beautiful warm room with a lovely balcony–perfect for a small wedding.

We decorated the tables with buckets of fresh peaches, green hydrangea, and lots of candles. We have about 100 of these candlestick vases to rent out, and they can be used with candles or flowers.

Here’s a quote from Melanie after the wedding:

The work you did was stunning, gorgeous and out-of-this-world beautiful! Thank you so much for making my wedding breathtaking! :)
