Southern Wedding under the Oak Trees on Jekyll Island

Thursday, January 29th, 2015

Caroline and Wes were married last summer at the Beachview Club on beautiful Jekyll Island. This is one of our all-time favorite weddings and we are delighted to share these photos with you! Sarah Esther Photography did an amazing job capturing their special day, Melissa Livingston from Posh, Petals, and Pearls coordinated everything so perfectly, and Halyard’s baked the gorgeous cake pictured below.

Enjoy!!!

Inspired Reality- Jekyll Island: Part 2

Monday, February 1st, 2010

Blue Door Photography and event designer Liz Demos teamed up again for this spectacular wedding photo shoot down at Crane Cottage on Jekyll Island.  Liz asked us to design the bridal bouquet and the boutonnieres, and then she hauled buckets full of our loose flowers and designed them in her own eclectic containers.  To view more images of this photo shoot, please visit Blue Door’s blog.

We designed the bridal bouquet out of many beautiful ingredients: mini callas, china mums, herbs, nigella pods, scabiosa, seeded eucalyptus and alstroemeria.

Love these non-floral boutonnieres created out of scabiosa pods, snow berry, seeded eucalyptus and grass explosion.

Inspired Reality-Jekyll Beach Wedding

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

Check out this breathtaking photo shoot that we (well our flowers) participated in.  Up and coming event designer, Liz Demos, teamed up with Blue Door Photography to create every detail of this beautiful wedding down on Jekyll Island.  When Liz approached me with the idea, she asked me to provide her with the bridal bouquet and a bunch of loose flowers.  She then took these flowers and designed them in her own containers.  She has a lot of experience as a photo stylist, so I knew I could trust her with our precious blooms.  To read more about this event and view other images, please visit Blue Door’s blog.  (And yes, a real butterfly did land on the bridal bouquet during the shoot.)
