We’ve been decorating Sam and Miller’s Isle of Hope home every Christmas for the past 13 years. It’s the most charming picture-perfect home! Below is a photo of the cover of the book called “Mosey The Isle of Hope Cat” and a photo of the house decorated for the holidays. It is a sweet tale of a cat who brought much joy to the residents and children of the Isle of Hope.

I recently met Lauren from Destination Weddings and Honeymoons Magazine. We were doing the flowers for the DWH fall shoot that they were planning at Ford Plantation. It was such a delight to meet her and hear her story. We are excited to be doing her very own wedding flowers next year!
Here is a little snippet from the article:
When we sat down with Julie and tons of picture albums, she asked if I had seen anything that would be of inspiration for our wedding day. I brought in a DWH flower story, and we discussed the color scheme of our wedding. Julie had some amazing ideas, but more importantly, she wanted to hear what I wanted. She was so excited to help with our wedding; she had no ego, just pure love and enthusiasm! Exactly what you want on your wedding day from your vendors.
Thanks to Lauren for her kind words!
We are so excited to have this wedding featured on Southern Weddings blog! And I just love having a beautiful venue to work with because it makes the flowers look even better! Victoria and Rusty celebrated their wedding at the picturesque Ford Plantation in Richmond Hill. From the cotton boutonnieres to the blossoming hydrangea arrangements, this wedding was as southern as it gets. The bow ties add a nice touch as well!
A tasty cake from Two Cakes.
