I am truly one of the luckiest people in the world. I work with beautiful flowers, beautiful couples and in beautiful places. Check out these gorgeous images (from Chia & Hon) of a wedding we did last September at Palmetto Bluff. I worked closely with the bride’s mother, Vicka, to create a dream wedding for her daughter and future son-in-law.
As a mother myself, I adore this image of the couple and their niece.
Lauren’s bridal bouquet was one of my favorites! I love a gorgeous natural mixture of garden flowers. We used roses, freesia, ranunculus, cymbidium orchids, buplureum, hanging amaranthus and pieris japonica.

Lauren Conder and Nick Klinkert were married in the Waterside Chapel located on the grounds of The Palmetto Bluff Resort. Its a magical charming place that overlooks the May River.
These bridesmaid’s bouquets consisting of green hydrangea and cymbidium orchids were the perfect complement to their eggplant colored dresses.

Gladiolas are the bride’s favorite flowers, so they greeted her in a grand way at the entrance to the reception.
The ballroom of the Inn was filled with tall arrangements of magnolia leaves, curly willow, oriental lilies, roses and tall French tulips. Tulips were a must at this wedding since the groom was Dutch!!
Many many thanks to Chia & Hon for providing all of these beautiful images. You are always such a pleasure to work with!
I receive a lot of requests for wedding flowers from Rev. Steve Schulte and his brides, but I was completely honored when he asked me to re-design his mother’s bridal bouquet from 50 years ago. His entire family met in Tennessee for this wonderful celebration. This was the only photo that we had to work off of, and Steve said that it included tiny white roses, lily of the valley, green ivy and lots of white ribbons. To read more about this day, check out his blog. Thanks Steve, for letting me be such a special part of this day!!
And yes, this is the original cake topper!!
Check out this breathtaking photo shoot that we (well our flowers) participated in. Up and coming event designer, Liz Demos, teamed up with Blue Door Photography to create every detail of this beautiful wedding down on Jekyll Island. When Liz approached me with the idea, she asked me to provide her with the bridal bouquet and a bunch of loose flowers. She then took these flowers and designed them in her own containers. She has a lot of experience as a photo stylist, so I knew I could trust her with our precious blooms. To read more about this event and view other images, please visit Blue Door’s blog. (And yes, a real butterfly did land on the bridal bouquet during the shoot.)
We created her bridal bouquet out of delistar mums, queen anne’s lace, lisianthus, stock, herbs and seeded eucalyptus.
One day Caroline Carter, with Events by Caroline, came into my shop and introduced me to a beautiful bride from Las Vegas. She was in town with her friend planning her wedding, and they were so gorgeous that I think the first thing I said was “Wow! This is going to be a pretty people wedding.” It was during our bridal appointment that I discovered she was about to marry Forrest Griffin, the UFC fighter.
Thanks to Kelly Boyd, with DVB Photographers, for providing most of these wonderful images. You can tell which ones are mine!!
Jaime and her bridesmaids carried bouquets of white asiatic lilies.
Forrest wore a mini calla boutonniere.
The couple was married in Columbia Square, just two blocks from my shop. We lined the front of the fountain with an assortment of cylinder vases with floating candles. These vases were reused at the reception on the head table.
The reception was held in Belford’s Restaurant, right in the heart of Savannah’s City Market area.
I loved the table centerpieces that we created. They looked fabulous on the custom made table runners that Caroline had found. As for the flowers, we used roses, dendrobium orchids, anthuriums, stock, ruscus and bells of ireland.
Look at the fabulous job that Custom Cakes did with matching the cake design to the table runner. It was really beautiful!
Take a look at this beautiful romantic centerpiece created out of gold manzanita branches, white hydrangea, creamy blush roses and green amaranthus. Hanging crystals and votives complete the look. Many thanks to Kelli Boyd with DVB Photographers for these incredible images.
