We were so honored to work with Grace Bonney, owner of Design*Sponge, and her now husband Aaron Coles this past April. They traveled to Savannah to get married in Orleans Square under the big, beautiful oak trees. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the couple through her wonderful wedding coordinator, Tricia Huddas , a fellow colleague that I have worked with on many occasions. Grace was a dream bride…she simply presented me with a handful of photos from her favorite florist back home in New York and gave me the freedom to select the freshest blossoms for her wedding day. She was interested in a very loose, natural, gathered from the garden look. One of my favorites!!
Visit this post on Design*Sponge to read all about Grace’s flowers. And a special thanks goes out to Grace’s photographers, Annabel + Dorothee of Belathee, for these incredible photos.
Aaron’s boutonniere and Grace’s bouquet
Grace’s bouquet was a beautiful mixture of garden roses, jasmine vine, lilac, sweet peas, ranunculus and button fern.
Bride and Groom’s chair swags–a lush combination of passion vine, garden roses and ruffly parrot tulips.

Shown here is a vintage bottle from The Paris Market in downtown Savannah. I hand-selected 50 of them for her centerpieces. I had so much fun digging through Paula’s basement.

How beautiful the bridesmaids’ bouquets look here!
